Back to School
Every child remembers those first day of school jitters. And every parent knows how expensive it is to purchase all those school supplies. We partner with the Johnston Community School District to make sure every child is ready to head back to school. We collect school supplies for students of all grades. Thanks to generous donors, this summer, we are focused on collecting for Elementary School students!
The 2025 Back to School event is Thursday, August 7th. We will need to pack 300 more backpacks (450 total) to be ready for that day. Help us out by donating supplies (between July 1- August 1 during open hours), shopping our Amazon Wishlist, or by making a designated cash donation to purchase what we need. We will also need many volunteers to make the event successful. Click the volunteer button to sign up for shift.

● 24 Pack of Crayons
● 1 Pair of Scissors
● 5X8 School Box
● 2 Glue Sticks
● 12 Pack of Washable Wide Tip Markers
● 12 Pack of Washable Thin Tip Markers
● 2 Wide Ruled Spiral Notebooks
● 4 Folders
● 1 Highlighter
● 1 Package of Wide Ruled Loose Leaf Paper
● 1 Pair of Earbuds or Headphones
● 1 Dry Erase Marker
