Partnering for success

Thank you to each of our partners for helping us serve our Johnston neighbors.

We couldn’t meet the need in our community without generous support from you!

Community partners

Des Moines Area Religious Council

  • DMARC is a multi-faith collaboration working to meet basic needs in the Des Moines community.

DMARC fights food insecurity by operating a network of partner food pantries and mobile food pantry sites in the Des Moines metro area.

  • DMARC helps its partner food pantries, including Johnston Partnership, by providing food, offering home delivery, and advocating for policy change.

  • WELCOME!

Our mission at DMARC is working together to meet basic human needs for the great Des Moines community - and that includes everyone. We strive to provide healthy, culturally appropriate food through our Food Pantry Network and welcome all who need assistance, no matter their circumstances. We make every effort to treat each visitor to our food pantries with dignity and respect.

DMARC is an equal opportunity provider and does not discriminate on the basis of family size or structure, religious beliefs, cultural background, national origin, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

  • In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.
